BIDEFORD MASSED PIPES & DRUMS

We are planning to bring the Massed Pipes & Drums back to Bideford for another spectacular display on Saturday 8th September, following on from Bideford Carnival.

Once a year Bideford Quay comes alive to the skirl of the pipes and the swing of
the kilt as it becomes home to the biggest gathering of Pipers & Drummers in the
South West of England as part of the Bideford Festival of Piping & Drumming.

The festival begins with a spectacular concert on Friday Night and continues on
the Saturday morning with workshops for pipers and drummers.

A rehearsal for the evenings Massed Pipes & Drums Event follows in the afternoon,
with the Carnival procession starting at 6.00pm, followed by the
Massed Pipes & Drums at approximately 7.45pm.

Any pipers or drummers are welcome to take part, but please let us know in advance.
